Course Instructors
Dr. Wali Mughni
Dr. Wali Mughni is an accomplished aviation leader and educator with decades of experience spanning strategic management, education, and operational excellence. As Chairman and CEO of the Aviation Institute of Management, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation through mentorship, education, and global collaborations, including partnerships with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. A former fighter pilot and holder of an MBA and Ph.D. in Aviation Management, Dr. Mughni brings unparalleled expertise and dedication to advancing the aviation industry.
Engr. Asif Khan
With 39 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, Asif has worked for 28 years at Emirates Airlines in Base Heavy Maintenance and 14 years at PIA in Line Maintenance. He has extensive experience with the Airbus family and various Boeing aircraft, including the B777 series. Holding an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License (Category B1) and A&P certification from the USA, Asif has continually enhanced his expertise through advanced training to stay current with industry advancements.
Engr. Zia Ul Haque
Wing Commander in the PAF, holds a BE in Aeronautical Engineering and an MS in Operations Research. With experience as an Aircraft Engineer at Shaheen Air International and an Operations Engineer at the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, he has also served as an Assistant Professor at NUST and Preston University, and a Professor at the Aviation Institute of Management. Currently, he is the CEO of INIT.
Engr. Zafar Ullah Khan
Engr. Zafar Ullah Khan is a highly experienced aerospace professional with over 42 years of service in the Civil Aviation Authority Pakistan (CAAP). Holding an MS in Aerospace Electronics from Cranfield Institute of Technology, UK, he has served as Director of Airworthiness and Technical Advisor to the Director General of CAAP. Engr. Khan is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers, Pakistan, and a member of several prestigious organizations including the Royal Aeronautical Society, UK. He has significant experience with Dana Executive Jets in the UAE, Pakistan Aviation Engineering Service, Bureau Veritas Pakistan, and his consultancy, Global Aviation Consultancy Services (GACS).
